About the school
The School was founded 20 years ago, but was re-branded and redeveloped as Salcombe Shooting School in 2008.
As a former Royal Marine and a keen and experienced Game Shooter, Chris saw a need to start a School for people to practice prior to the Game Shooting Season.
The School's natural valley is a perfect location to simulate all aspects of game shooting, and various driven and crossing targets make it an excellent training ground to sharpen up your skills for the season.
Appealing to all ages and levels of experience, Salcombe Shooting School provides an ideal and safe environment, which has developed into a busy School for Game Shooters and Clay Shooters alike or anyone wanting to try the sport.
The School has now has opened a new Air Rifle Range with a variety of 'knock-down' targets, the challenging 'Bell' and marksman targets.
The School offers private or group tuition, shooting parties and Air Rifle sessions. With an ever increasing number of girls wanting to try shooting, our 'Girls with Guns' sessions are becoming very popular.
All guns, ear and eye protection can be provided by the School.
The School prides itself on its attention to detail with particular emphasis on safe gun handling and etiquette.
